Today is National Unfriend Day, something that Jimmy Kimmel created back in 2010. While there are many, many days you think about getting rid of some of the annoying people you are “friends” with on Facebook – today is the day to actually take action.
In honor of the day, on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, people on the street were given masks – so that they could be honest about their most annoying Facebook friend. Some highlights:
- “[She] constantly writes posts all the time,’ I’m so depressed’, ‘I’m so sad’ – just to get likes and comments from people.”
- “He’s always posting pictures about him drinking in the airport. Every week, he’s drinking a beer in the airport. We know you travel a lot. We get it!”
- “I don’t want to know how far you rode on your bike today!”
- “Nicole, you’re a dirty slut and no one wants to see your Facebook nudes.”
