VIDEO: Road Rage Leads to Fist Fight in So Cal

A man following two pissed off Hollywood drivers captured cell phone footage of road rage that led to a fist fight in the middle of the road.

The drivers had been fighting over a lane at about 9:30am on Monday – but things escalated quickly.  ABC 7 has the details:

The witness said two men in separate cars were screaming at each other for about 10 minutes. Then, when they got to Highland Avenue near Hollywood High School, one of the men leaned out of his window and punched the other driver’s car door. That’s when both men got out of their vehicles and began to throw punches.

“One guy went into the suicide lane and just passed the other guy, and that guy didn’t see him. So they were jockeying for position coming down Highland,” the man told Eyewitness News in a phone interview. “You see people yelling at each other and honking at each other, but you never see them just go fisticuffs in the middle of the street. It was definitely the epitome of road rage.”

Things got so heated that one of the men almost got hit by a van coming in the opposite direction, then as one driver tries to leave the scene a bystander comes out of nowhere to try and jump in. Seriously, the whole thing is really nuts.

Both men drove away from the scene and were not identified. Neither man has filed a complaint with the cops. Police still want anyone with information to come forward.
