Searching for and scooping up coyote poop around Los Angeles: what a way to spend the weekend.
The National Park Service is looking for volunteers to help out in a two-year study of scat left by coyotes in and and around the city. Researches will be using the samples to study coyotes’ diets.
Scientists note that there is no experience required to volunteer and they will even train you in how to identify and handle scat – ooooh, that’s going to be an awesome skill to list on your resume from now on.
