Anaheim, California is now a mecca for tourists – with hotels, restaurants, huge theme parks, stadiums, and more. But, it was not always that way.
As part of the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration, celebrating 60 years of The Happiest Place on Earth, Disney Parks released this rare footage of the theme park being constructed. Check out things like Cinderella’s Castle, Main Street USA, and Tomorrowland all being built by construction crews.
The video is pretty cool if you like to see behind the scenes Disney or if you are a Disney Geek (like me):
Construction on the Disneyland park began on July 16, 1954 and was opened for its first day on July 17, 1955.
