Those visiting the last Vintage Market of the season in Palm Springs got a little something extra for their $5 admission fee: a dust devil doing its best to destroy the swap meet.

The video, taken by George Prather, shows the dust devil forming and then winding its way down the event tossing up in the air anything in its path as the vendors rush to their tents to hold them down.

The dust devil could have been just a random event, but more likely it was Mother Nature’s way of telling the remaining Snow Birds to get out of town already.
