A driver with a dashboard camera was horrified to see the woman in the Hyundai in front of him bail from her vehicle before letting it roll into traffic.

The video, filmed on September 1st at 3:45 p.m. in La Habra, went viral quickly. In it, you can see the driver, later identified as 22-year-old Jasmine Lacey of San Bernardino, leaving her vehicle and walking to the center divider. The car then begins to roll forward, jumps the center divider, and slams into oncoming traffic followed by two trees.

Lacey was arrested on suspicion of DUI – but was released from custody on Saturday due to insufficient evidence to support a criminal complaint, according to Los Angeles County booking records cited by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
