Jimmy Kimmel returned to television Monday night after being away for the birth of his son, who had health complications.
“They found that Billy was born with a heart disease,” Kimmel told his audience. The late night host then detailed what had happened and thanked the doctors, nurses, and staff who helped let William go home after six days in the hospital and open heart surgery.
Kimmel also urged everyone to donate to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and asked that everyone keep those who are currently there in your thoughts.
“Please say a prayer or send positive thoughts to the families with children who are still in the hospital now because they need it,” an emotional Kimmel pleaded.
