Wednesday was a pretty bad day for fireworks all across the Coachella Valley.
Police were confiscating illegal ones from people.

Organizations selling the legal variety of fireworks were getting scammed.

They were causing brush fires.

And they may have led to this Palm Desert house catching on fire.
