The last weekend in June is here and it’s going to be a hot one. If you are lucky enough not to burst into flames after touching your steering wheel, you may be interested in getting out and doing something. Here are five things going on in and around the Coachella Valley.

Arroyo Seco Weekend
Alright, so Pasadena is a bit of haul from Palm Springs, but it’s from Goldenvoice, the team behind Coachella and Stagecoach, and it has a nice roster of acts – Tom Petty, Weezer, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Mumford and Sons, anyone? – plus some good eats and the weather will be a hell of a lot nicer in Pasadena this weekend than in the desert.
The first annual event runs Saturday and Sunday next to the Rose Bowl and still has passes available – with one day tickets starting at $125.
