There hasn’t been a lot of good news lately, most likely because of that deadly virus that’s going around, but, hey, it’s not going to feel so much like an oven in the Coachella Valley next week! So we have that going for us, which is nice.
It has already begun to cool from the record setting temps from earlier in the week and forecasters believe we should see a high temp somewhere in the mid-90s by Monday in the Coachella Valley:
Weekend Outlook. A cooling trend is expected for the next few days, with much cooler temperatures by Monday! Isolated thunderstorms will occur over the mountains Saturday afternoon. Gusty winds are expected over the mountains and deserts beginning Monday. #cawx pic.twitter.com/xFg5U8aAYs

Tuesday and Wednesday are looking to bne even cooler, with things heating up only to the low 90s. But, don’t get too used to it – as forecasts are calling for a warmup on Thursday and, by next Saturday, the desert should be back into the triple digits.
