It’s Friday, it’s hot, and it is beyond boring at your workplace…so let’s pass some time discussing what you think the Coachella Valley needs.
Now, there are a ton of really important things we could use: better public transportation, clean drinking water for all, and our cities to stop wasting tax dollars, just to name a few. But beyond the necessities, what is something you would like to see come to the desert?
I’ll go first: a Dave and Buster’s.
Now I know this is not the most pressing need for the Greater Palm Springs area but, as it is going to be hot as fuck this weekend, it would be nice to have a place where we all could: a) be in air conditioning, b) have a beer or two, and c) do something other than sitting on a stool at a bar while doing it.
As previously discussed, The River in Rancho Mirage would be the perfect place for a D &B’s – but, Rancho Mirage being Rancho Mirage, I doubt it will ever happen.
