A woman is dead after she was run over, then pinned against a McDonald’s by her own car on Saturday in Beaumont.
Police were called to restaurant on E. 2nd Street Marketplace at about 1:44 pm, according to the Beaumont Police Department.
Officers arrived to find the woman caught between her vehicle and the wall of the fast food place. Police say that the woman got out of her vehicle in the drive-thru and failed to put the car in park. She was run over and then pinned between the vehicle and the wall of the business.
The woman was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
