The body of an elderly woman was discovered in a hot tub in Palm Desert Saturday morning.
Firefighters arrived to the 500 block of Tomahawk Drive to find the woman unconscious and not breathing, according to a news release. She was determined dead at the scene.

The Riverside County Sheriffs Department is investigating.
