
A 29-year-old Joshua Tree woman was arrested following a high-speed pursuit on the High Desert early Sunday morning.
Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to pull over a van driving along Twentynine Palms Highway with no headlights on at about 2:29 am, reports the Press Enterprise. The driver did not pull over.
A high speed pursuit followed with the Chrysler van hitting speeds over 100 miles-per-hour. The vehicle also drove across several lanes of the highway, according to KESQ.
Spike strips were laid down by California Highway Patrol officers, which led to the van finally coming to a stop.
Sierra Embry, of Jushua Tree, 29, was arrested for felony evading,.
