A world record was set in Huntington Beach on Saturday when 66 people hopped on a single surfboard and caught a wave.
In order for it to count as a record, the riders had to stay on the 42 foot-long by 11 foot-wide, 1,300-pound surfboard (which costed nearly $100,000!) for a minimum of 10 seconds – which they easily surpassed (some in the crowd estimated they stayed on for 15 seconds).
