A 53-year-old Yucca Valley man was taken into custofy on Thursday after police say he was in possession of a stolen car and operating a chop shop.

Leroy Plum was taken into arrested about 9pm by the Auto Theft Task Force on Sunset Avenue for investigation of possession of a stolen vehicle, misdemeanor drug and vehicle warrants and suspicion of owning or operating a chop shop, a place where stolen vehicles are dismantled, according to Z107.7.

His bail was set at $120,000.
