A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Tuesday after police say she intentionally started a small vegetation fire.

Authorities were called to the intersection of Prescott Avenue and Highway 62 a little before noon. The fire was quickly put out by firefighters, according to Z107.7.

A witness told police that a woman lit the fire and then left the area. Deputies checked the area and found a woman, identified as Kimberly Webber, 44, who matched the description of the suspect.

Webber was arrested on suspicion of arson.
