A Yucca Valley woman was arrested after police say she left her two young children home alone while she drove to Palm Springs.
Ashley Boughner, 27, left her 1-year-old and 3-year-old children alone at home while she went to Palm Springs to receive her methadone treatment, reports Z107.7.
Police were alerted to the kids being alone by a call at 4:13 am. A deputy went to the house on Barron Drive and found the two children were sleeping.
Boughner returned home while the deputy was still there and she was arrested for child endangerment. She also had a warrant for her arrest for driving on a suspended license, no proof of insurance, and speeding.
