It’s confirmed, Monday was a scorcher.
The National Weather Service confirms that Thermal hit 118 degrees on Monday – which is not the hottest temperature of all time for the area, but it was just as hot as Death Valley and, oh yeah, please tell me why all those maniacs are running through the area this week?!?
Thermal CA tied Death Valley CA at 118 for the nation's high temp today. Truckee CA was the nation's low temp at 32. #cawx pic.twitter.com/gkRsM6iJ3o

Luckily, the ‘ol forecast is calling for it to get cooler…wait, let me rephrase…not as hot the rest of the week and thank God for that.
