One of the more unique Black Friday promotions this weekend could land you a new, cuddly, amazing best friend for no cost.

Zappos.com has partnered with the Best Friends Animal Society for “Home for the Pawlidayz,” which will run Nov. 27-30 at shelters and rescue organizations throughout the country including Living Free Animal Sanctuary in Mountain Center.

“Zappos is thrilled to provide homes for animals through Best Friends this holiday season,” said Steven Bautista, Head of Karma at Zappos.com. “Thousands of dogs and cats are in need of a loving home and we’re excited to give customers the ability to make a difference.”

And for every adoption from November 27 through November 30, Zappos will also donate an additional $150 to Best Friends to help cover the cost of food, medical care, immunizations, training and more for animals awaiting homes.

The adoption process at Living Free remains the same and pets will only go to qualified, loving homes.
