Resellers looking to unload tickets to Desert Trip, a 3 day music festival coming to Indio next weekend, have dropped their asking prices to far below face value for the event.

Cactus Hugs has been tracking prices seen at online reseller Stub Hub throughout the summer and this week saw the sharpest dive in prices for the festival which was, at one time announced as “sold-out”, but then made tickets available again (tickets are still available to purchase at the fest’s website).

Resellers dropped prices to as low as $199 for general admission to Weekend 1 this week, down from $652 in June. Standing pit prices for the same weekend have fallen from $2,399 on June 6 to $1,149 this week. Desert Trip is selling the general admission tickets for $399. Standing pit prices have, once again, sold out.

Weekend Two prices have also dropped, with resellers asking $244 for GA and $699 for standing pit – down from $349 and $1,680 just last week.

Desert Trip will feature Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Who, Roger Waters and Neil Young over the course of two weekends, October 7 – 9 and October 14 – 16 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
