‘Desert Trip’ – a three day music festival your dad won’t stop talking about and scalpers believe is the greatest thing to ever happen to them – got some heat from fans after a decision by promoters to ban chairs and blankets from the general admission area of the event after originally saying they would be allowed. Well, good news: they reversed that decision and will now allow chairs and blankets…well, for now anyway.
The festival emailed attendees about the change back to allow chairs and blankets, saying that they apologize for the confusion over their decision to quietly ban them.

Of course, based on the layout of the event, those in the general admission area won’t be anywhere near an area where they will be able to actually see the stage – but at least they will be comfortable.
