Sunday, organizers pulled the plug on the FYF Festival with Billboard reporting that poor ticket sales were to blame.
The two-day fest, which was slated to take place at Exposition Park in Los Angeles was to feature Janet, Jackson, Florence + the Machine, St. Vincent, the Breeders, the xx, U.S. Girls, My Bloody Valentine, Kali Uchis, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lucy Dacus, and more.
Goldenvoice, the promoter of the event, has promised fans that some local shows will be announced soon – which could feature some of the announced acts.

The creator of the FYF Fest, Sean Carlson, was accused by a number of women of sexual harassment in November. Goldenvoice and AEG Live have since bought out Carlson’s share of the event and cut ties with him.
