Indian Canyons reopened on Monday, a day after being evacuated due to a mountain lion being spotted in the area.
The popular hiking and recreation area in south Palm Springs will open from 8 am to 5 pm – announcing on Facebook that the mountain lion had gone back into the wilderness.
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians advise everyone to be alert and aware of wildlife that may be in the area.
Also, the trails really do look amazing right now.
