Just a week after taggers ruined a Desert Hot Springs mural, comes news that metal thieves stole brass medallions from the city’s veterans park.
The four brass medallions were taken from a walkway at Veterans Memorial Park in Desert Hot Springs. Each medallion had represented a different branch of the military (the medallion for The Marines was not taken).
Worst of all, the medallions were discovered to be missing just before a Veterans Day ceremony to salute the city’s war heroes!!!
