Virginia Valdez pleaded guilty Friday to felony assault for a 2011 incident where she tried to cut off her husband’s penis with heavy-duty scissors.
The husband, who was not identified, was able to drive to the hospital and required “advance medical attention”
Under the terms of the plea deal, Valdez is scheduled to be sentenced to three years probation and 420 hours of community service.
