Desert Hot Springs Police are investigating a body found in a vacant lot near the intersection Two Bunch Palms and Via Real.

Authorities were called about 10:30 am, when a teenager spotted the man’s body, reports KESQ. The TV station reports that four people were detained for questioning and that the body may have been dumped in the lot.
The body was bleeding from the face, according to the Desert Sun.
