1 arrested, 1 wanted for robbing Indio Domino’s and Dollar Tree
Police arrested an 18-year-old Coachella man after they say he tried to rob two Indio businesses on Tuesday. A second man, from Indio, is also sought in connection with the crimes.
Indio Police were called to Domino’s Pizza on Avenue 42 at about 6:30 pm. As officers were responding, another 9-1-1 call was received regarding a robbery at the Dollar Tree on Jackson Street.
Officers concluded it was the same two people involved in each crime – where the suspects simulated having some type of weapon, though no weapon was actually seen, say police.
