One person was hospitalized after suffering injuries in a residential fire in Indio on Thursday.
The fire was reported at 3:43 pm at a home on Vargas Road, according to Cal Fire.

The blaze at was contained by 3:56 pm. One person suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
