Time flies while you are being investigated by the Feds. It’s September 1st already, which means it is already the 1-year-anniversary of the raid on Palm Springs City Hall. So while investigators continue to comb through tens of thousands of documents (1st anniversary presents are traditionally paper!), what should the rest of us do to mark the occasion?
Here are some ideas:
- Hold a big party at Hacienda (it is available and your taxpayer dollars did pay for it)
- Play a game of find Steve Pougnet – seriously, dude disappeared from town fast!
- Attempt to find someone, anyone, not on the new ethics task force
- Drive across town to find the new Palm Springs Mayor some shoes
- Give the city council more ridiculous lifetime-achievement awards
- Get the city to give us cash for our non-existent business
- Park in city council member’s parking space to see what they do
- Invite a bunch of food trucks to town for a part…oh, that’s right
