More than 12 tons of marijuana was seized by Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials on Monday morning from a property in Anza.

The department was responding to “numerous complaints from residents” about the property, it said in a Facebook post. Six warrants were issued, leading to the discovery of 2,105 plants, 14 pounds of processed marijuana, $15,000 for asset forfeiture, and one handgun.

San Diego residents Tou Yang, 61, and Va Yang, 52 were identified as suspects in the search.

Charges against the suspects will be filed with the District Attorney’s Office for Marijuana Cultivation, the sheriff’s department said.
