A home in Yucca Valley had “about 18 guns” stolen from it by burglars on Monday morning, reports KESQ. Thieves also stole a Nissan Pathfinder, an ATV, and…wait, no one knows exactly how many guns were stolen?
Authorities were called to Joshua Tree Road and Old Woman Springs Road for a report of suspicious activity. When they arrived they found the Pathfinder, reported stolen the night before, along with $1,500 in stolen tools.
Prior to police arriving, a concerned citizen confronted two men who were loading tools and an ATV into the vehicle. The suspects then fled in a Chevy Sedan which was occupied by two women.
While investigating, police learned that a home on Ocotillo Road had been burglarized and that thieves took “approximately 18 firearms” and a safe.
Note: Seems like knowing how many guns are in a house might be helpful when they are stolen – but, you know, ‘Merica. So there’s that.
The suspects are described as either white or Hispanic. The two women in the Chevy sedan were described as: white with blonde hair, weighing about 180 pounds and the other was white with brunette hair, also weighing about 180 pounds.
