Three mainstays from the monopoly that is KESQ / Local 2 are leaving the tv station.
Anchor / Weather Guesser Jenifer Daniels, Anchor / Weather Guesser David Gonzalez, and Anchor / Reporter Laura Yanez have either exited or will be leaving the airwaves this week.
Yanez announced her departure a little more than a week ago during her last newscast. She is leaving the industry to start a wedding and lifestyle videography company in the Coachella Valley:
Gonzalez, a KUNA anchor and Local 2 weather guesser, will have his last day on Thursday. No word on what his future plans may be.

Daniels, who originally joined Local 2 11 years ago, will depart after Friday’s morning show. She is moving to Austin, Texas.
The exits follow a number of KESQ staff members who have left the station in the last couple of years – including anchor Samantha Cortese, sports guy Chris Alvarez, anchor Alex Batres, weather guesser Rob Bradley, reporter Natalie Brunell, sports guy Angelo Caruso, weather guesser Danielle Gersh, anchor Megan Terlecky, and weather guesser Ginger Jeffries.
