A group you have never heard of protested a restaurant that you never go to in Palm Springs this weekend – and all over a food item you never order. But, there was what looks like some violence caught on tape…
Protesters from Direct Action Anywhere, whose Facebook page calls for “Total Animal Liberation”, picketed outside of Le Vallauris Restaurant over their serving of foie gras. That is when a man, dressed all in white, showed just how displeased he was with their presence. He first grabs at the camera and a sign and then walks away. But, then he returns to grab another sign which it appears that he may have swung in the direction of one of the protestors.

The Desert Sun reports that Palm Springs police officers responded to the restaurant at 2:20 p.m. Saturday regarding a report of battery. The victims did not press charges or identify themselves. There is also no indication of who the man in white is.
