Fourth of July beachgoers in Carlsbad got a scare on Saturday when a small plane towing a banner crash landed on the beach.
The plane landed about 3 in the afternoon and, as seen in the video below, the crowd makes a mad scramble as soon as the plane comes into view. The pilot was not injured, but at least one bystander was transported to the hospital.
