More than 100 people are camped out in the courtyard of Hollywood’s historic Chinese Theater. They started lining up on Saturday. Saturday!!! That’s 12 days prior to the movie’s opening.
“Yes, we still have a very long time to wait,” Caroline Ritter told the NY Times. – before adding, “No, we’re not crazy.”

But, why? Seriously though. Why? Especially when you can just buy tickets right now on your phone or computer without waiting in line. So why the hell wait in line?
“At night you freeze and in the daytime you cook, but you come for the camaraderie and the chance to be a part of cinematic history,” Erik Murillo told the Times. “Besides, there are traditions to be upheld.”
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens next Thursday.
