Things got a little weird in San Diego on Tuesday night as a man leapt out of the two truck that was towing his car.

The man, who was not named, was involved in some sort of minor car accident a short time before midnight in Golden Hill, reports 10 News.

The man requested a tow truck and, after his car was hitched to the truck, he climbed in the cabin and asked the two truck driver to take him home. The driver denied his request, but he did agree to take the guy to the tow yard – where someone could pick him up.

A short time after the truck began moving, the man proclaimed he wanted to get out. As the driver looked for a place to pull over, the man jumped out of the window of the cab.

“I’m looking to my left, trying to build up speed, I turn around, and next thing you know, he’s gone,” tow truck driver Alex Ramirez told 10News.

The CHP was called and the guy was taken to a nearby hospital. There have been no reports as to what the man’s injuries might be.

The driver still towed the car to the tow yard.
