A 24-year-old La Quinta man died after he was hit by a vehicle Sunday morning on the 10 freeway.
Ramon Gomez was struck in the eastbound lanes east of Golf Center Parkway a little after 3 am, reports the Desert Sun.
The driver stopped and was cooperative with investigators. Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene.
There has been no information released about why Gomez was on the freeway.
