A Coachella man was arrested Saturday and charged on two counts of forcible rape.

Allen Raul Montano, 31, was arrested at about 5:30 pm Saturday at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport, reports KESQ, after police received a tip from an anonymous caller Saturday morning.

Last week, the Indio Police Department released surveillance camera photos hoping the public could help identify the suspect in an alleged sexual assault that took place in Indio on October 24.

Police were notified of the assault on the morning of October 24, reports KMIR. They arrived to find the victim wandering in the roadway.

The Major Crime Unit of Indio PD discovered that the suspect made a purchase at a nearby convenience store around the time of the assault and released the surveillance images.

Montano is set to appear in court on Nov. 9.
