A high speed pursuit in Indio ended Friday when the vehicle police were chasing crashed into an SUV.
Officers tried to serve an arrest warrant to a woman in North Indio before 1:30 pm. The women fled in a car with a passenger, reports The Desert Sun.
The woman drove to the 10 Freeway, where she sped at speeds above 100 miles-per-hour. Due to the high speeds, police ended their pursuit.
The driver exited the freeway at Washington Street and 10 minutes later crashed into an SUV on Avenue 44.

“I heard a big boom from outside and the next thing you know I see clothes all over the street, on the road so I go to the car. It’s a lady flipped over with her blood in her face and I turned her over and the next thing you know I pulled her out of the car, she just took off running,” Ahmad Jefferson told KESQ.
Bot the driver and passenger fled on foot. The driver was found and arrested.
Police are still searching for the passenger.
