A man, who was not using a crosswalk, was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Palm Springs Sunday night.
Paramedics were called to East Vista Chino and North Sunrise Way after the crash, which happened about 9:40 pm, according to a news release.. The unnamed man, who is in his early 60s, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol was a factor for the driver in the crash.
