Iggy Pop added to lineup for Joshua Tree’s Desert Daze festival

Iggy Pop will be performing in Joshua Tree this October.

The Desert Daze Music and Art Festival announced the singer has been added to the lineup for the festival taking place at the Institute of Mentalphysics in Joshua Tree on from Oct. 13 – 15.

Pop, the “Godfather of Punk” is best known for songs like “Search and Destroy” and “I Wanna Be Your Dog” by The Stooges as well as the solo hits “Lust for Life” and “Real Wild Child (Wild One)”.

He will join Spiritualized, Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile and the Sea Lice as headliners.  The lineup also includes Eagles of Death Metal and many more.
