A group hiking inside of Joshua Tree National Park discovered skeletal remains on Thursday, according to Z107.7.
The discovery was made in the Stubbe Springs Loop area of of the park. Sheriff’s officials have collected the remains and other evidence.
An investigation is underway, according to a news release. The identity of the subject is not known.
