Two men were arrested for an early morning robbery that police say took place in Indio early Friday morning.
According to the Indio Police Department, deputies responded to a call of a robbery at a convenience store at Clinton and Highway 111 at about 2:45 am. Police say the robbery involved two male suspects armed with a handgun who took money from the cashier.
About an hour later, an additional call was received by police dispatch of a brandishing of a firearm at a nearby apartment complex nearby. The suspects matched the description of the robbery suspects.
After a brief search in the complex, responding officers located two male suspects who were later identified as the suspects in the robbery. A loaded semi-auto handgun and US currency were also recovered.
Edgar Galvan, 20, and Daniel Galvan, 23, both of Indio were arrested and booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio on multiple charges.
