Just two years after Pierro’s Acqua Pazza closed at the River in Rancho Mirage, Acqua California Bistro at the River is opening in the same spot.
The site, which was most recently BB’s at the River, will open this winter.
“There’s not a day that goes by when we meet someone who misses our first restaurant at The River,” owner Jerry Keller told KESQ. “Our customers have asked us to come back to Rancho Mirage and we will this winter with Acqua California Bistro.”
Acqua Pazza was best known for having an all-day happy hour – which is a thing that does not actually exist.
No word yet on what the plans are for the menu.
