Craft beer lovers: Babe’s Bar-B-Que & Brewhouse has a new twist on their Belgian Vanilla Blonde Ale.
The local craft brewer has introduced a Chardonnay French Oak Aged Belgian Vanilla Blonde Ale to celebrate being open 15 years in at the River in Rancho Mirage. This is no simple beer. The team at Babe’s aged this brew for 60 days in wine barrels, giving it what they describe as a subtle, smooth, sophisticated taste with pleasing wet oak finish.

The beer comes in at 7.5% ABV and 24 IBU’s, and according to the restaurant, pairs nicely with anything you would normally pair with a Chardonnay like grilled chicken, fish, or risotto.
“We have worked really hard crafting this beer and are excited for the Coachella Valley to try it for themselves,” said Babe’s Operations Manager Art Vasquez.
Babe’s is taking the beer to the LA International beer competition in April and it just might be at a certain music fest coming to town – but, you don’t have to wait until then to try it, as the Rancho Mirage restaurant / brewery has it on tap starting today.
