The Hacienda, a scandal plagued restaurant / beach club / huge failure, may get new life as a hotel.
The restaurant, pool, and cabanas would remain, with a 66 room hotel being built next to them. The property would be named the Belardo Hotel, according to the Desert Sun.
The planning commission will decide on approving the project in September, though based on the newspaper’s article, it sure seems like that is just a formality at this point.
