Raul Ruiz, a congressman known more for his shitty car than anything he has done while serving in the House of Representatives voted against Prop 64 today, a bill which would legalize the recreational use of marijuana in California today.
“That was a difficult one,” he told The Desert Sun. “For me, I weighted on both sides and at the end of the day the doctor came out in me and I voted to keep marijuana’s use as a medicinal plant and for medical uses only.”
Ruiz’s opponent, Jeff Stone, also told the newspaper that he voted against the bill with a text message that simply said, “NO.”
These guys seem stressed. Maybe they should try some edibles for that.
