When you visit a zoo, you will most likely notice that the animals are kept behind fences. Unbeknownst to 24-year-old Amanda Hall of San Luis Obispo, those fences are there to protect you from a giraffe kick to the face! KTLA reports:
Hall had climbed over one fence and was partially through a second fence when the 12-foot-tall giraffe, a 2-year-old named Wally, licked her, police said. So far, so good. But then Wally turned his back and kicked her in the face.
Hall was treated at a Madison, Wisconsin hospital and released. Madison police cited her on suspicion of harassment of zoo animals which carries a $686 fine.
