A Cathedral City man was arrested after police say he robbed a 7-Eleven of Trident gum and Chapstick using a knife.
Nomar Omar Portillo, 26, went into the convenience store on Dinah Shore Drive at 12:30 am on August 1st and demanded money from a cashier after pulling out a knife, according to the Desert Sun.
The cashier refused and Portillo grabbed some Chapstick and gum before fleeing the store.
Police arrested Portillo on Sunday based on a description given by the cashier.
